Our Story

BodyBlocks is a convenient and easy way to rebalance your body to get it to it’s optimal appearance, vitality and energy. This is done throughout tailor made and nutritious meals which are expertly created to deliver dramatic results.

BodyBlocks’ mission is to rejuvenate the body, to create a complete sense of wholeness for the individual which encompasses every part of their life. Using the latest and most progressive techniques and methods in food science and wellness. This is done through a process of understanding an individual, inspiring them to be the best they can be and empowering them with the solutions and diets to live that life.

Founder

Nadine El Alaily – Founder of BodyBlocks

When BodyBlocks first started, we offered health consultations only.  The general feedback we received was that there was a lack of high quality healthy fresh meals that were tasty enough to keep people on track. Preparing natural wholesome food from scratch was inconvenient since most clients tended to have busy schedules.

Driven by this concept to provide solutions to facilitate healthy living led to the next stage of the journey: developing and delivering healthy food lines to our clients’ doorstep to make healthy living as easy and convenient as possible. Since we believe that every individual is different and understand that there isn’t one single diet that fits all, we developed tailored meal options to cater for individual needs.

BodyBlocks outsources a range of salads, soups and smoothies from Angelica Kitchen, which further developed into a partnership to share our knowledge and expertise to expand the range to healthy treats, breakfast options as well as products for high-end supermarkets.

Nadine is a Nutritional Therapist (NT) and committed Founder of BodyBlocks, she holds an MSc in Personalized Nutrition from Middlesex University London, and completed the UK Nutritional Therapy Practice Diploma (NTPD) accredited by the Nutritional Therapy Education Commission (NTEC.)

She is a member of the Association of Neuro- linguistic Programming (ANLP) awarded by the UKCPD, and has been awarded certificates in sports and fitness nutrition by the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA). She has also been certified by the Dietary Educator Certificate completed in 2015 awarded by the Centre for Nutrition and Lifestyle Management (CNELM) and accredited by the Federation of Holistic Therapist (FHT.) Nadine completed her registration with the British Association of Nutritional Therapists (BANT) in December 2017.

Iman Osman – Founder of ANGELICA

Angelica originally started as a dessert bar in 2012, it was everything I loved growing up coming to live. I grew up watching my grandma in the kitchen daily baking everything from scratch (from breads to cakes) everything was home made. When she passed, she left us a cook book which she wrote with all her recipes. This is when I started experimenting. I later took many courses in California in kitchen operations and Hygiene in order to be able to start Angelica.

Food is connection! Angelica was founded from our love of wholesome food. The kitchen is our sanctuary where this connection takes place.  Our mission is to offer you excellent food using the best quality of ingredients and the highest standards of hygiene.  Angelica aspires to always update and recreate traditional recipes using the best local ingredients available.
